Hanson Fire Divisions/Units

The Hanson Fire Department prides itself on the ability to serve the community of Hanson through our fire divisions and units.

Fire Prevention

The Hanson Fire Department Fire Prevention Division is dedicated to upholding the State Fire Code with a singular mission: to prevent the loss of life and property in our community.

EMS

Our commitment to public safety extends far beyond fire suppression. We provide top-tier Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to the residents and visitors of Hanson, ensuring that professional medical help is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Training

The Hanson Fire Department members participate in a training program based on the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) Firefighter I/II fire service industry training standards.

Drone Program

The Hanson Fire Department utilizes advanced Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), commonly known as drones, to provide a critical “eye in the sky” during complex emergencies.

Emergency Management

The Town of Hanson Emergency Management Division is responsible for preparing for, responding to, and recovering from major disasters and large-scale emergencies.
